no service for 16 days with vodafone broadband

Just after a bit of advice please ,
i had a total loss of service for 16 days.

Vodafone are not starting to give automatic compensation till later in the summer so said i was not entitled to 14 days X £8.00 = £112.00 (this is what i was asking for).
They first offered £30 , then £40( plus £17 ).
Do you think this is a fair offer or should i hold out and try and get the £112.00.
At the moment i have raised a formal complaint and turned down what they offered.

I think the automatic compensation is only for customer sign up after 01/04/2019.

If it is a package for £25 a month, personally think it is a bit steep to ask for £112.

Personally would say £63 is reasonable, which is half month of rental + £50 for inconvenience.

However, there is no harm you make a formal complain to see what happened if you have time to deal with it.
