What's the weirdest substitute item you've been sent?

I have a funny one. I have an 84 year old grandpa that does his shopping online as he can’t easily get out the house. Once ordered bin liners, got given panty liners 😆.
Made the whole family giggle!

I once ordered a couple of light bulbs for my new desk lamp, I got dog treats as a substitute?!?   I was telling another delivery driver this and they said they were aware of someone ordering "Kettle Crisps" and getting an actual kettle as a substitute!  I'm thinking of ordering a TV magazine with my next shop....

I once got Lemon Toilet cleaner instead of Lemonade!  But it really annoys me when I get normal wheat products instead of Gluten Free

I once got Lemon Toilet cleaner instead of Lemonade!  But it really annoys me when I get normal wheat products instead of Gluten Free

I think these are both fair enough, assuming they didn't have a closer alternative.  Lots of people choose vegetarian or gluten free products out of preference, but would prefer meat or wheat products than nothing.

If the substitution isn't suitable for you, you can always reject it, so it's no different from them saying the product is out of stock.

That's me, so I put a note in saying substituting with meat is ok so there's less chance of being left with nothing. 
I do wonder how many pickers don't read the notes though.

Ordered extra hold hair spray for my wife during lockdown on the grocery delivery, they sent a tin of chick peas. I phoned them to complain and pointed out the stupidity of this substitution, they promised me it wouldn't happen again,; it did 3 times before they realised how to stop it happening.
