Current pick rate at Asda is 244 an hour. Bearing in mind we check every date and quality. I can do it but some of the younger staff arn't red hot on checking dates and quality. They only seem to care about speed. It's relentless, we're told of if we speak to anyone except customers.
It's about time big buisness looked at customer satisfaction rather than getting the job done with the minimum amount of staff in the fastest time possible.

Must be the younger staff picking my orders because most weeks I have at least one short dated item. which is promptly refunded when I report it. 244 per hour is a lot considering all the different aisles the stuff is spread over

I once ordered napisan… I don’t have kids but wanted to wash and whiten my net curtains…

they subbed it for baby milk powder…
    guess it’s the same aisle.

I think it may have been said on here before but I read a while ago that someone ordered toilet rolls and was sent sausage rolls as alternative.

    :)

  • I ordered a vegetable peeler for £3, sent me 3 graters  :D
  • When my laundry powder wasn't available, I was substituted the album 'Laundry Service' by Shakira. Brilliant...

Instead of a TV mag, we got a bottle of olive oil (not even close)! Can't even find a connection, though we did have a comment - well if you can't watch tv, you can do a stir fry!

Order included a loaf of sourdough bread and fresh rosemary, didn't receive either but instead got a rosemary focaccia... never worked out which item it was supposed to be a substitute for or if the picker thought it'd cover both off
  • How about a large bottle of Heineken instead of Domestos - if they believe that to be bleach, imagine what it is doing to your insides.....
  • I ordered baking powder from Morrisons and received curry powder. Also, ordered vegetarian ready meal - they sent me beef lasagne ugh!
