It's Wi-Fi so you shouldn't have any problems at all.0

is there anyway to order one from the US and avoid all the taxes/duties. With the £/$ rate so good it seems to good to missHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

mine works fine, as for ordering from the US you always run the chance of it getting stopped - walking through customs when they're sat there drinking tea and eating biscuits is a lot lower risk0

Yeah, would make sense...
With the current exchange rate, even with postage and import duty, it'd prob still be cheaper than over here!0 -
it's probably still cheaper to buy an airline ticket and fly over there and get it yourself!

Another thing to be aware of is that you may no longer be covered by warranty from within the UK."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

AFAIK all Apple warranties are international, earlier this year they put out a service bulletin the other day stating that as from Feb all warranties are global warranties, so I'm pretty sure you'll be ok, unless someone knows otherwise, or this is specially for Applecare extended cover.
They are normally just interested in the serial number and if it was registered.
Interesting article although a few years old, here: http://community.zdnet.co.uk/blog/0,1000000567,10004034o-2000331777b,00.htm0 -
If Apple are doing that then good but I think Nintendo don't for the Wii for example. So manufacturer's don't have to honour the warranty between countries (unless transferring within the EU)."She is quite the oddball. So, Blacksheep, did you have to make any changes or alter any settings to get your Touch to work in the UK?
I assume you needed a new adapter for the charger, but apart from that?0 -
It comes with a USB dock for charging, like all iPods. So you don't need to worry about a US/UK power plug.
There will be nothing you'll need to change to get it working AFAIK.0
