We are looking to transfer our AA balance to a 0% deal with another credit card - can anyone recommend one please that will accept a balance from The AA as several don't? Example being Sainsburys who offered us a card and 0% however do not transfer from The AA.
Many thanks!

The AA card is a BOI card so not sure why Sainsbury's wouldn't accept it?0
-
Not sure but they said they don't transfer AA balances0

I suspect they've given you duff information.0

Likely because the card is no longer offered and it's not listed on the "script" of answers.
You should still be able to BT from it though0 -

So looks like MBNA was the answer back then.. not sure if that would work now thoughTried with mbna, Halifax and Barclaycard. All the same no.
From post #12. It seems that no-one found a solution.
List of card providers who won't allow the transfer:
TSB
Bank of Scotland
Halifax
Lloyds
Barclaycard
Tesco
MBNA
Sainsburys
List of cc providers you could try:
Santander
Virgin
HSBC / First Direct

I tried to transfer a balance from my AA credit card to HSBC and they refused.
They said it showed up on their system as a debit card :think:0 -
could you get cash off one card, use it to pay off aa, then bt to that cc - or would that not work...0

The obvious solution to this rather strange problem would be to get a money transfer card, transfer the funds to your bank account and pay off the card that nobody wants to make a balance transfer to that way.0
