Argh two days off-line and I come back to this......Huge hugs for you hun-and if keeping up civility in front of him becomes all too much feel free to bog off and come round. No family invasion here and always a friendly ear and a glass of wine if needed-you can always go back later and stick an axe in his skull then if the urge doesn't recede Seriously if you need a breather just ring to say you are on your way round-no family invasion this year and DS will be far too absorbed in his new PC to bother with me-I'm planning a telly watching veg out holiday so if needed please take up the offer <hug>

went downstairs about half 6 and as I had left mum down there wrapping pressies last night wanted to make sure she hadn't fallen asleep on the sofa. Twas dad and we had a natter and he made me a cup of tea:T :j :T

Hi P, dig in for some of that strength I know you have got, but do take Duchy up on the offer of an escape over these next couple of days if she is nearby.

I hope that, despite miserable bollox being there, you have a good few days xx

Your Mum and Dad sound lovely, P. Being with them in a loving home sounds like just the tonic you need right now. At least OH won't be playing up in their company so make the most of it while you can.:beer:


I would offer to take you in too on your round-Britain trip but after spending half an hour in my DH's company you'd be convinced your OH is god's-gift and be speeding off back to him:eek:
