OK, so i still have a job.......
But i feel so so F*cking guilty.....
I walked in to find a whole department has just been made redundant and sent home, 10 people, gone just like that... some of which were telephone buddies and i would never ever wish it on them for the life of me.
There have been comments already of "well someone dodged the bullet" and "it's alright for some!" when people have learnt that i am staying. I wish that i could step into their shoes and for them to do my job and me to take the bullet for them, if they were qualified enough i would do so.
but i guess you can only concentrate on yourself and adopt an "well i'm alright jack" mentality which i shall try to adopt.
Now all i have to do is take full advantage of the company and laugh at them evilly while earning their money! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Hi P, it must feel good to have made a decision. Can totally understand why you wouldn't want to risk being self-employed. Company sounds thoroughly !!!!!! though, I just hope they don't mess you about any more and you can get through these few months without any hassle and with lots of earnings!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Hello :hello:
Got your text, not been around much as half term, OH away and stress city . Quite who invented half term!!!
Glad you have made a decision re the job, understand the reasons you have made it as well, as long as you keep in mind it is short term then it is certainly doable.
Your diary puts me to shame, I will root mine out and make some updates on it. Have deleted my sig as to be honested it blummin depresses me  Still on board with it all though, packed lunches every day, menu planner. Slight shocker when I forked out £500 on MOT, service and car tax yesterday but fortunately I had put it away so it wasn't toooooooo painful. This time last year it would have been withdrawn from the credit card instead so all's good. Also had to clothe little one who has decided to grow but nothing planned this month so being good

Jelly babies - nice to hear from you!! Stop disappearing!!!
P, don't feel guilty at all........11 staff, one vacancy? Well of course there are going to be 10 disappointed/angry/peed off people.
But, you can bet your bottom dollar that if it was one of them who was "saved" they would be breathing a sigh of relief and not worrying too much about the other 10.
