Yep it can be expensive to volunteer One of the places I saw charges £375 (not including flights!) to go olive picking for a week. But there are organisations that put you in touch with farmers (e.g. WWOOF and Helpx) and you only pay for your travel... very tempting indeed, olive picking season is early November apparently... ahhh daydreaming

oooh just as it's getting yukky n cold here its still warm there! count me in!

I'm fine thanks hon, very tired and looooads of work to do, as per usual!! he he being naughty and drinking sprite. oooooh just seen 4 hours of deadliest catch is on discovery tonight, i LOVE the program! sad? moi? naaaah!

Exactly - nice dose of sunshine (hopefully - it's sunny in all the photos anyway!) in the middle of winter!

What is deadliest catch? Sounds like some sort of dramatic fishing programme?

it is! it's about the crab fishermen in alaska and is fab!

and.. ahem... confession time... i only iron what is strictly necessary! however i do iron towels which some think is a bit bizarre.
