Spent the entire evening tidying my bedroom as i became fed up of having to make sure the bedroom door was closed before a visitor wanted to use the bathroom!!!:o :rotfl: Took me an age but was nice to wake up this morning and think ooooh tidy room!!!:T Am going to go round each room in turn over the next few days and have a real good blitz of each one. Fed up with it looking like a house out of kim and aggie heaven! blitzed the kitchen at the weekend but due to someones point blank refusal to do anything even remotely resembling housework it is back in the same state again:mad: so a houseworking i will go!!!
I ALMOST had a no spend day yesterday, then it came to the post office and i had to spend £6!! on posting my letters, 2 of which were recorded delivery. However I CAN reclaim the postage through work so being philosophical and looking on it as a savings plan!!:rotfl:
B-C I had 2 little rotties, prince and storm. We got them at 8 weeks old after our old rott was put to sleep with bone cancer. My ex has always had them and although not initially a breed i would have chosen i was amazed at their versatility and enthusiasm to learn. they were just the best dogs and i miss them lots and lots and lots.
The breed has had such a bad press and we were subjected to numerous complaints to the dog warden when we had them purel for the breed that they were. when they were off the lead they would walk quietly either beside or just behind us and as soon as we said "here" they were back glued to our side again. But because they were rotts people would shout at us to get them indoors where they belong. someone even told us that we should be "ashamed of ourselves" for owning such a breed. for 2 such incredibly lovely obedient and gentle boys it was quite sad. eventually after a few house visits the dog warden came out for a walk with us as we asked her to just come and see. she was amazed at the prejudice while we were out and absolutely loved our boys.
And the saying is true. there is no such thing as a bad breed, any dog from any breed can be bad if not trained not to be so.
I get to see them on the very odd occasion that i can sneak back to kent for a few hours but understandably OH doesn't like me to go. Ironically I would class my ex as one of my best friends now and miss him and the boys like crazy. I've actually just done his re-mortgage for him to!:rotfl:
right, after an incredibly long winded answer to a short question (sorry:rotfl: ) i'd better get ready, theres tea at hypnos to be drunk and long drives to go on today doncha know!!!
See you all later.debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
quickie uppy datey..
Been in bed alot of the day today... with the odd interval out of it to either puppy walk or be ill. Woke up with a stonking headache which i think is what made me so ill. It is still lurking now but i am feeling much better. I wish i could meet the man that invented anadin, I would love to shake his hand as being hyperallergic to codeine it's the only thing that will work against my migraines.
OH ordered himself a chinese the other night, 5 in one month!! (rather his money than mine, mercenary wotnot that i am!!!:rotfl: ) and i asked him just for a bowl of egg fried due to the diet. am wondering if that is what has made me so ill and the migraine was a bi-productish of the sickness...Ah well, whatever it was hopefully it's done now...
I got paid my first amount from the puppy today which is a £5er towards sunday. I now have £63 in piggy, £50 for the course and the rest to put towards my homework i need to do before i get there. I also need to buy a rain mac and "sensible shoes" for the day as i currently have neither! Mum, love her heart has given me some money towards that and is behind me all the way with the day and the opportunity it "could" bring. that in itself makes me smile!!:D
I can't wait until next friday when i get paid as my debt will drop to firmly within the 25k's. never ever again to go up. even more excited that in May it will be ever so firmly BELOW 25k!!:j :T :j that will be 14k paid off debt at it's highest level, maybe even more as it has bounced around and jumped up and down so my debt realistically at it's highest could've been more like 41k holy cow!!! i can't wait for the next few months, I may well even be back within overpayment territiory!! :j I haven't has debt below 25k for 4 years so that is really exciting. sorry to sound like a kid in a sweet shop but thats how it feels!
Right, I need to go find a poster of a dog from somewhere, tried a few shops yesterday but no could do. going to try the vets and woolies see if they have any at all. else no homework for me!:odebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Yay so a jaffa cake party in May to celebrate P's sub 25K
I'm definitely up for that !
Lost my voice yesterday...not helpful in my job but fortunately had booked a couple of hours holiday last night -so instead of croaking at the customers I got to croak in a focus group instead for the local health authority after working for an hour and a half. Little bit peed off as there was a prospect of a change at work which might have been better suited (I really like what I do now but this was more hours and more bonus) but the training for it clashes with my prebooked holidays for both May and July so not moving for now-and will see what the future brings.
Know what you mean about certain breeds-I wasn't thrilled when my neighbour was moving in and there were two staffs rampaging around the garden.Turned out only one was hers and she's the sweetest natured dog ever (and my cats run rings around her)
Packing DS off to his Dad's for the weekend so a weekend of decluttering and more getting to grips with MB methinks (and two work shifts) and generally getting organized-I'm SO disorganized at the moment-need to get a grip.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Just popping in to say hi before I go babysitting! Fab re amost getting to 25!! Incredible how that much debt can be a good thing lol! Still a big behind you but not far!! Also good on the extra dog money..babysitting gets good tax free money & I will be at east 30 this week...just a thought? Easy money & get to use someone elses elec etc fr the eve! Isnt shetland in Scotland?! If DP's a Welsh pony a lucky thing he is & bound to be a hardy soul with all that rain lol!! Was up in teh valleys the other day & it was truely beautiful, although the 800 foot sheer drop a few feet to the right with no barrier was a tad disconcerting & had to remind mysef to stop admiring the view unless at a stop!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1!
