    right peeples, a dilemma.....

Have had an e-mail back from the delectable Mr Martin... Date for the training day is 20th april!!!   it is in Hertfordshire and is £50 for the day where they will also assess who they wish to invite back to participate in the instructors course at the end of the year (at a cost of £580!!)
Now this is before payday and thinks this month are dire!! I currently have enough left for about 1 1/2 tanks of petrol and lots of mileage to do this month.

Now, I have mr "getting rather fat" piggy sitting on the side... and i approximate there is £50+ sitting in there. I have a tenner left in my purse for me spends until the end of the month :o and thats kinda it....

As i have harped on about time and time again before (so won't bore you all again..:rotfl: ) dog training is my passion in life. the one job that would be a dream if i could do it for a living. the opportunity to be trained by such a well respected trainer even if just for a day is fab to me and i so don't want to miss it.. Now, what to do? Do i open piggy (Veeeery carefully ISOM;) ) and put that money towards this, nab some money back from mum to cover the petrol and go for it? or do i allow the opportunity to pass me by for the sakes of 1) being financially aware, 2) being fair to OH, 3) knowing that realistically i can't really afford it right now?

    HELP!!!!:o

Oh Miss P, if I had the money I'd send you it right now! I can see where you're coming from but I really think you should go for it. How often do we get a chance to do what we really dream of doing? You have got the money there in piggy and bank of mum and I think you'd regret not doing it. You've been talking about this for so long, it could be a long time before the opportunity comes round again.

£50 + how much for petrol? I'm sure you can replace that easily, do some eBaying etc.

I'm with RS - go for it, you may never get this opportunity again. As you said, it's your passion and you will probably regret it forever if you don;t do it. My answer might be different if you were going to put it on a CC but you're not, you're removing it from Mr Piggy.

As RS so wisely said, £50+ can be replaced - go on, do it!

I'm not bad ta hun. I wasnt too well last night, but totally self inflicted. Blimmin freezing and fighting the urge to put the heating on :o

Seriously though, I wouldnt imagine those kind of opportunities come up very often, so you should go for it ;)

Go put the heating on if you're cold hon, just an hour to warm the house up and you're be fine, alternatively get the large one to lay on you and pass his body heat on.....

I meant the dog then BTW:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Self inflicted AKA hangover? ouch, feeling better now?

I'm in work at lunch time, so pointless warming the house up just to go out in a bit :p

The dog is quite a good hot water bottle. Let me know if you need to practice your training on her.

Nope, it wasnt a hangover. I have a nut allergy and I was stupid, and had a peanut butter sandwich which I reacted too. Nowt too serious, but kept me awake until the anti-histamines kicked in
