hi just checking in again, have been offline most of the weekend doing necessary houseworky stuff, only one room to firebomb and it's the worst one, wonder why it always gets left to the last. Been playing in the greenhouse again, trying to help the long term food budget, need to keep my fingers crossed now i guess

Hello you! why does the firebomb room get left til last? as it's too daunting to tackle so you do all the easy stuff first then "run out of time" to do the worst one. that always happens with my bedroom, house is pretty respectable but bedroom is a bomb site, not exactly a boudoir of romance.... I do exactly the same. funnily enough the ironing always get s "left til last" too!

you sound just like me, i shove everything in the bedroom cos nobody sees it but it's doing my head in so i must tackle it. I've got started, listed a few things on freecycle, just wish i could sell my desktop, it's only had 6mths use if you add it together and is a good one but i don't use it any more, only the lappy. I'm reluctant to give it away as money towards the wedding would be useful.
I'm fine, tired but pleased in a sad way, i've spent time over this weekend making seed envelopes for the wedding and they look fab if i say so myself.
I'm baking a tuna pasta bake, yummy, my food timetable is all up the shoot since the change of clocks. As a potential money spinner, with a small money bit i've started making christmas gift tags to sell at my mum's community centre, £1 for 10 hand made tages, a bargain if you ask me, but then i'm hoping to sell them so i would say that. Can't wait to bank the solicitors cheque tomorrow, and need to ring old mortgage company to see if i'm due back the monthly payment. It will dictate what i do with the solicitors cheque, best case scenario i'm £300 up worst case only about £50 up. Thanks for all your work on it, glad i'm not looking at the moment, things can't be that easy at the moment for you at work.

today i only planted radishs, but i potted on leeks and onions, and have some healthy looking cabbages, mangetout & garlic. I've also loads of strawberries i want rid of. I've also got some spoutlet broccoli and thyme, got loads of other seeds in pots though that i want to sprout NOW! I think i've also spotted a sproutlet on the spuds i put in an old compost bag in the corner of the greenhouse

they should give the monthly payment back as that would have been post redemption statement, let me know would be fab if you are up on the deal.
really pleased for you with all the extra stuff you are doing is really good for you. I may have some strawberries off you if ok? used to really enjoy growing them when i had my own garden...

Pania you're more than welcome to strawberries, but probably too many even for you, they are hardy as were outside through winter, i only put them in the greenhouse about 6 weeks ago. Wonder if hypno wants some, you could give them to her. maybe the deal should be get a printer cartridge get 5 strawberry plans free.
I got a letter from the old company on friday so i'll take it to work and ring them tomorrow fingers crossed that it will be in my favour, i need a lucky break i'm sure.
PS pasta bake was yummy and there's enough left for tomorrow so that will save me some time. My second week in my 'new' job, hope it's better than last week, may see if i can take some flexi and have friday off.
