Hiya Karma, How are you hon? good I hope.
great to hear your mum had a lovely mothers day too, ours was a hotel restaurant, was nice to go somewhere quite nice and swanky!
The debts are all being paid right now, it is more the fact that my surplus this month has just vanished, I only had a very small surplus this month due to things being tight commission wise last month, its the "oh cr** where has that money gone!" that is worrying me. I was a little lapse i think at the beginning of the month, the cinema trip when we went to see a film i didn't even want to see turned out quite expensive when OH was meant to be paying, so that was £15. had an extra tank of petrol to help someone out the other day and only got £20 in petrol money back, so that set me back £40, £20 for the meal the other day, £10 on bits and bobs, £11 amazon postage, thats £96 out of £118 surplus. bingo has topped it up slightly but still waiting for some of that to come back through, also online banking is showing about £80 worth of transactions pending and until they come out i do not have a clue what that is all about.
Must Must do better.....
I have my £100 barclays money and £13 in alliance and leicester but i am so scared of touching this money but i know i am going to have to. If I don't start getting some stuff out of my pipeline this month then I am going to be knackered for april big style, so loads of additional money making measures coming up!!!!
help! :-(debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Morning P, good to hear you had a lovely time with your mum
I had a long long chat with mine on the phone on Sunday and I'm seeing them in just over a month - mind you, they announced on Sun that they couldn't get a hotel so are staying with me for three days in my little flat, that could be fun!
On the money front... hmm, I know how you feel. Got a bit carried away with having 'extra money' and have been spending too much of it. Had been really good at keeping track but I went to update my spreadsheet on Monday and didn't know how much I'd spent on what. Are you doing the £10 a day challenge? I've sort of associated myself with that as well as my own little money raising challenge and it does help to motivate.... if only I could stop spending it!!
Right must go to work, hope you have a good day xx
oh.. ps.. I've got another interview... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
woooooooooo fab news!!!! thats brill, when when when???
Yes I am trying to do it but am rapidly running out of ideas!!!!
However, I have a day working from home today and have had an idea, whether it will work (no one ever did call me about the dog walking:o ) but it's worth a go....
i really enjoy, when i get the time which admittedly isn't often!, painting, now i'm no van gough at all but in the show homes i have been into recently I have seen lots of abstract acrylic paintings, you know the types where you have three next to each other and the theme continues throughout?
SO I am going to go to the range today and have a look at there canvases and if they are cheap enough may give it a go, it may turn out total carp it may be good, and if it is i will whack them on ebay and see what happens!!!:rotfl: I usually use acrylic anyway so am used to it and familiar with it, hey it's got to be worth a go surely!:rotfl:
Any more money making ideas out there? need to try matched betting again, just can't afford to be without the money right now!:o
How is your extra money going? Must check up on your thread and take a look see, Thank goodness for extra money or i'd be sitting here crying into my hankie right now!! god bless MSE!!!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -

Those paintings go really well on Ebay. We got a load of them and all of them made reasonable money that we looked at getting.Debt Now~Total-£14,366.72~CC-£1,600.00~Sofa-£1,349.01~Loan-£11,417.71

right, ok, so, this is it right now
Just sat down and worked it all out,
I have £426.91 either available right now or some bits coming back in drabs over the next few days
I have £342.18 worth of outgoings remaining, including food, old mobi contract grrr grrr grrrrrrrrr (which i can now start dropping down each month until i can cancel it) and my life insurance which i have just set up through L+G.
Leaving a total of £84.73:eek: take away £20 for my sisters birthday at the end of the month, (4 days before payday how inconsiderate! :rotfl: ) leaving me with £64.73 until payday in 21 days time. (and thats using up all my surplus bits:o ) so, I have £6 in my purse right now, Panias £6 challenge! how long can i make it last!:rotfl:
Think i'll be ebaying and amazoning like theres no tomorrow tonight.:o

Next Monday. It sounds rather scary, there's half an hour of tests/ exercises before the interview.. though actually that might work in my favour as I'm better at doing stuff than talking about it!Yes I am trying to do it but am rapidly running out of ideas!!!!

That sounds like a really good idea re the pictures, if you get some on eBay send us the link so I can have a nosy, you never know I might want to add some decoration to my flat!
I keep meaning to have another look at the 'design your own T shirt' sites, I put a few things on one of them a while back and sold, er, one thing. If you're any good with photography/ photoshop/ designing then that might be worth a look? Maybe you could scan your pictures in as designs or something...?
Things are slowing down with the money-making, especially now the bingo is drying up. You're right though, thank goodness for all the ideas on here or... I dunno what!!! :eek:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
