still in reasonably light spirits just wish people wouldn't expect rudely but ask nicely!!!
It's the saturday i need to work meaning mum would have to come up in the evening rather than morning just to go back after lunch sunday, seems a bit pointless for her. May suggest going down there instead as i'll be half way there anyhoo!!

ok miss P less of the bored foot stomping! Stop!!!! Reframe that thought to sommat nice! Why are you "bored"? Possibly a quick run and a break may help "refocus" the mind!! Chin up, have a break & go back to whatever it was that needed to be done yesterday! Even better come up with a name for the pig & colors so I can focus my attention on that!! Yeah ok it was only yesterday that you put a request in but thats not the point is it eh!!

aww big hugs for you and really sorry to hear that...have you got an applications in? Justtry & think of this as interview experience and know that you did your best. DO you know if the internal candidate got it?!!

Nah, I don't know who got it, she just said it was someone who's "skills were an even closer match" to what they wanted (HR speak or what :rotfl: ), so I guess someone who's done a very similar role before. I'd done 99% of the things that it involved but not exactly in that sort of role so I suppose I'd have needed a bit more training. Anyway, at least I know that I'm aiming in the right sort of direction and that I didn't mess up the interview! And you're right, it's all experience...

Squirrel sorry to hear about the job, it's so disheartening when you think it's gone well but then you dont' get it. Sounds trite i know but you will get the right job, i know this from experience.

Pania, sorry to hear dude is still suffering, hope OH is suffering more. You'll have to pm pictures of him (the ferret that is) it would be nice to see what he looks like.

Sorry you have to work on mothering sunday weekend that's the pits. You're right though you're half way there so visiting mum may be the best option, and work will have paid some of the petrol (well they best had!).

I've been grrrrrrrrrrr ing (if that's a word) about an ebay buyer, need to run the issue past someone as i'm trying to calm down before i send back a reply.
