Am I liable for my wife's insurance mistake?

Only if they are financially linked by something such as a joint account.
Is this correct?
Our joint current account does not show up on my credit report.
I thought only credit accounts were reported and not savings or current accounts.
I do however have a financial connection through a joint mortgage application.0 -

Have you checked all your credit reports? Savings accounts wouldn't be reported but many current accounts are, especially if the account has an overdraft facility so could be used for borrowing.0 -

I’m pretty sure I’ve not seen my joint account on equifax, Experian or call credit and it’s £1500 overdraft.
Maybe it’s an exception for some reason.0 -
She's your wife...get on and get it dealt with it ASAP. The sooner the better.0

I've just had a look at my last Experian and Equifax reports and both of them report on all of the current accounts I hold at Metro, First Direct, Tesco, Nationwide, TSB and Halifax, so I'm unsure why your account is not reported on any of the CRAs.0 -
Ok, thanks. I’ll accept it’s an exception.0

How old is it?Ok, thanks. I’ll accept it’s an exception.
If it's an older account, the terms you accepted at opening may have limited the bank to reporting to the CRA(s) only when you are in breach of your terms.I am a mortgage broker.
