Has anybody ordered a lloyds banks statement online?

Options
I just tried to order a statement online because i need one for proof of addressee, when i selected the statement and clicked order, the page went straight back to my accounts home page with no confirmation of the order, It also says the first statement is free and £5 there after, now i have no idea if the order went through or not, i am wondering if the don't show a confirmation for this reason? to get people to order again and be charged?

Sorry, don't know about Lloyds Bank. Can you use a letter from the HMRC as proof of ID? Getting a letter confirming your NI number is easy. Log into your personal tax account and take it from there.

If you normally have online statements and have access to a printer then you can print your own.

    1) Go into your current statement
    2) Choose Statement options
    3) Choose Monthy PDF's

Note that at the top of the following page it says

"Please note, full legal statements (produced after 10 January 2018) are available in your Digital Inbox''

So you can now choose and print the statement you want. I have used this method to print a statement as prrof of ownership of that account.
  • I'm not sure they can charge for statements under GDPR regs?

I think they can. What they can't charge for is a DSAR, but that won't necessarily result in statements being provided.
