Car hire advice Belfast International Airport

Hi I am a first-time car renter looking for a little advice please.
I have found a deal via https://www.autoeurope.co.uk/ for a Nissan X-trail with Firefly car rental from Belfast International Airport.
Picking the vehicle up at 9 am Monday 13th of May 2019 and returning the vehicle Friday 17th of May 2019 at 6:30 pm.
For the five days the deal is £165.00 including: EXCESS GUARANTEE WITH EXTENSIVE COVERAGE INCLUDING WHEELS, UNDERSIDE AND ROOF.
This seems to be a good deal with it including the extra insurance but will they try to sell me further insurance when I pick up the vehicle? if so will I need it?
Also blocking over £1000 on my credit card is this standard practice with other rental services?
Any tips or further advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

They'll probably upsell roadside assistance, Personal Accident Insurance, etc. But you have full right to decide whether you would like to take the additional extras or not and if you purchase any services at the counter, make sure you also check that these items have been added to your contract. This seems to be a good deal with it including the extra insurance but will they try to sell me further insurance when I pick up the vehicle? if so will I need it?
Yes. Most local car rental stores will block or hold the deposit on the main driver’s credit card. It usually takes one or two months for you to receive your funds, however, actual processing time varies depending on location and banks. Rentals in the US normally take as little as one week for deposit money to be returned to your credit card.blocking over £1000 on my credit card is this standard practice with other rental services?
