Door Number changed on New build Plot

Villa1
Hi, just wondering if anyone has any advice.
We are due to move in to our New build 31st May, on Friday last week we were told our House address is changing number from 60 to now 58A (Post code and street name is the same) Plot number is still the same as well.
does anyone know if this will affect the mortgage offer in anyway?
I have sent this over to the solicitors and Mortgage Brokers, they have advised this will be fine but just stressing, has anyone heard of this before?

Your solicitor and mortgage broker say it's not a problem... So why do you think it will be?
It's literally only a change in the numbers they're screwing to the door, four weeks before you move. No more, no less.0 -
It happens all the time with new builds. Just keep an eye out because as sure is eggs as eggs you'll find "60" cropping up in various documents make sure you get it changed wherever you find it.
Good news is, if this is all you have to be stressing about you are well placed. Try to keep a sense of proportion. Enjoy your new house0 -
Living on a street with A and B addresses I know from experience you can look forwards to post being delivered to the wrong house for the whole time you live there.
Despite you telling everyone its 58A it will end up as 58 on databases.0 -
it's a disaster, your lender will now think you are only buying half a house and will halve their offer since a) & b) = the whole and you only have a)
meantime, in the real world....0 -
It's an odd thing to do - have they given you a reason?0

Actually this would really p*ss me off.
Firstly, because the 'A' implies the property is a conversion rather than purpose built.
Secondly, there is often not the option for 'A' on forms, so stuff will get sent to 58 and then shoved through any random door. Hopefully 58A will be the first door.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

to me sounds like it is a apartment rather than a house0 -

I would be slightly annoyed as well........why not change all numbers going up,surely they must have known how many houses on the road/street/close.As previous post i would think its a conversion if looking at it and if selling in future could put people off.Getting post and parcels will be a real pain as well because most will go to 580
