It is a complicated family finance situation, but I can assure you it's not my financial stability that's in question, it's the rest of them!!!
There will be a paper trail on their side so if there are funny goings on with them they cannot hide them easily. If they have informed you of the reason they want to transfer the money and you fear that your involvement would be considered collusion, then that is another question. You cannot discuss it with your bank, but possibly you could discuss it with a solicitor as a hypothetical question without naming names.0
