Hello, does anyone know if I would be able to access sky store and make purchases from the store using a Sky box without a subscription?

No, not at all. If you already have Sky Store content then you'll still have access but not via the box itself.

I can purchase from the Sky Store without a subscription using an app on a Xbox and PlayStation, the Sky Store app is also available on smart LG televisions. I am trying to establish whether or not I will be able to make purchases from a Sky box which is used to view only Freesat content.

I do have a Sky subscription on another Sky box in the same house.
