Not sure what your point is saying they are seperate.....your contract clearly states an admin fee is chargeable. You chose not to pay it.0

if i missed a monthly payment for my car --- this should show my credit file...
if i dont pay the admin charge - it shouldnt show on a credit file. as its seperate to the monthly installments
thats my point ...0 -

Exactly right. If they had an issue with it, they could take you to the small claims court. An admin charge such as this is nothing to do with credit and has no place on a credit report. This is what happens when you have a weak regulator such as the ICO.0 -
Or
You could have just paid it and been done with it.0 -
thats not the right attitude buddy.... the parking ticket has nothing to do with them.. i paid it and thats the end of it .... why should they charge people more?
companies like this con people .....
this is not what a credit file is for ...... not paying an admin charge should not appear on a credit file ..0 -
Not the right attitude? Paying what you agreed to seems to be an old fashioned concept these days.
Your 'principled' stand worked out well for you didn't it....all for £18.0 -
It is the right attitude.
And be thankful they’re not charging you at least £40 as per their terms and conditions you agreed to.0 -
that dosent mean its right does it ?
...it in the hands of the FCA now ...0 -

If it forms a part of the contract then it absolutely does.
Maybe you should look at buying a car either outright or on finance then you wouldn’t have these admin issues?0
