OK....Clock correct. The only setting I have found for certificates refers to sites requesting my certs and that's set to 'Ask every time'.
(Can't remember being asked anytime though).
    So am I missing something?

Yes. THE FAULT IS ON MOZILLAS'S SIDE and therefore nothing you can do about it. They haven't updated their certificates for extensions so when your browser does a certificate check for them it'll fail and say they're out of date no matter what you do.

Yes, it is all working again for me.

I removed them and then just now retried adding them and all have been added without a problem.

Thats a puzzle - though as you don't have a problem not one worry about. Any FF user (other than a candidate release) gets this problem with 99% of add ons. So unless you have the 1% addons, a wrong clock or have disable signing of extensions (not where you're looking deeper settings!) I can't see how you avoided it.

It will take ~4hrs for this fix to spread unless you force it (app.normandy.run_interval_seconds 1)but frankly most ppl are best leaving well alone less they do more harm than good.

NB Users need to Allow "Firefox to install and run studies" for this hotfix

Strange, I checked out the about:config status and mine was definitely set to true for the signing of extensions, yet I had no problems......
I'm running 20 add-ons, with the majority being the ones others have had trouble with, so the 1% theory seems mute.
Anyway, as it's supposedly now fixed it would seem I dodged that particular bullet....:)

I just visited the Mozilla site and they've posted the following comment:
We rolled out a hotfix that re-enables affected add-ons. The fix will be automatically applied in the background within the next few hours. For more details, please check out the update at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-ons-failing-install-firefox
