I asked for a return/swap, and got told that they only allowed that after 14 days, id had it a couple of months, kept buying new chargers etc etc, I wasnt very savvy with consumer rights i guess. But anyway, ive spoken to talkmobile and they now have my new address, so a bit of a weight off my mind
  • If the phone was faulty then the provider has a duty of care for the first xx months, it then comes a point when it becomes an issue with the manufacturer under their warranty plan.

I don't know much about CCJ's but surely no court in their right mind will waste their time with a £120! debt lol.

I’ve seen a claim for £38 before today.

And who is paying for the courts time?? Is this public money?

I'm assuming the court fees that are added to the debt total would make up for it.

You can make a court claim for any amount, there is no minimum amount of debt required.

The courts are a public servant, the fee you pay is in line with the value of the claim.

The staff, judges, council tax, electricity etc. I very much doubt it on a £30 debt.

This is a ridiculous practice. There should be a minimum amount you can waste a courts time for.
