This is what worked for me:
- Go into the Options and select Privacy & Security on the left.
- Scroll down until you find Firefox Data Collection and Use and tick these boxes:
- Allow Firefox to send technical and interaction data to Mozilla
- Allow Firefox to install and run studies
- Allow Firefox to make personalised extension recommendations
- Allow Firefox to send backlogged crash reports on your behalf
- In the address bar type in about:config and press Enter.
- Search for app.normandy.run_interval_seconds and change from default value (21600) to 1.
- Search for app.normandy.first_run and change from false to true.
- Close Firefox and allow 10 seconds for it to fully close before restarting Firefox.
- When you next open Firefox your addons should appear again, if not very shortly after opening.

Firefox v66.0.4 (which fixes this problem) is expected to be released imminently.

EDIT: I literally just checked again, (by going to Help/About), and the update was available. And it's fixed the problem (on Windows, anyway).
Presumably GNU/Linux distros will take a bit of time to recompile and build repository packages.0 -
