So thanks to Hollydays secret amazing juicy controversial intel I have made progress contacting the director (on his mobile) who informed me that:

The company liquidating the business is Leonard Curtis
The collected stock is held by a company called Robson Kay

I have spoken to Robson Kay and they have kept repair tools aside, they have loads - so I should be able to get my tools back!

I've emailed them the list of tools with copies of my:
    > Slips for dropping the tools off.
    > Receipts with serial numbers for the tools

Once they find them I can hopefully collect them.

Eggs aren't in the basket yet... But they are closer.

    I'll keep you posted.

OK so here is the final update and outcome.

My tools could not be found. I involved DeWalt and they have replaced my tools with new ones!

I have to hand it to DeWalt - their customer service team were slow - but they delivered and I have new tools in hand.

I will continue to use and buy DeWalt tools (except for their DAB radio - has to be Makita).

Overall a good outcome - although I was without tools for a while. Thanks for all your help!
