Hi we are flying soon TUI have changed the aircraft as mentioned by previous threads.
does anyone please have a link to check aircraft against TOM number ? this would be great, have changed our seats coming back .

If it’s Dreamliner it will say so on the booking, if you have selec Seat option it will tell you the aircraft type, if short haul it will be a 737-800 or 757-200 unless otherwise stated.
I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world

I've never understood this obsession with the flight element of a holiday. Mind you I spent 22 years in the RAF travelling around the world in the back of a C130-Hercules or the "luxury" of a VC10 and more recently I'm a great supporter of RyanAir (or indeed most budget airlines) and have traveled to lots of great places with them. They get you from A to B safely (and hopefully as cheaply as possible), end of.

If you get a seat on the upper deck of an A380 aircraft, you may be shocked at how good flying can be.

Again it varies with the airline. I have been consistently happy with Emirates A380 in economy but I was a little underwhelmed by BA's A380 Premium Economy especially given the "premium" cost.

As long as the 737 max aircraft are not reintroduced by TUi this summer I am not really worried which airline TUI use..Our flight time is under 3 hours. If they did start to fly the 737 max then I would have grave concerns.

Well they have to fly them again sometime, no way on earth are you going to have billions of pounds of equipment grounded for ever, a fix will eventually be sorted.

We are flying to Faro in June on a TUI holiday and we have been informed it will be with Titan Airways which is fine by is. However we would not wish to fly by a Boeing 737 Max, if or when it was introduce until that aircraft has a proven track record.I am sure ther are many others in the same position. We just would not trust it to be safe a the moment..

Luckily for you, none of them will fly until that happens anyway, so I dont see what the worry is. They have been banned from British (maybe even EU by now) airspace.

Even when the Boeing 737 is reinstated I will be very wary of travelling in one for some time. I hope TUI keep using other aircraft and perhaps should consider alternatives to the 737 max. Public confidence in this aircraft will be very low for some considerable time.

If it is fixed, it is fixed. They arent going to ground planes certified as safe, I am afraid to say.

We were at BHX this morning flying to Vienna, and low and behold, there was an Olympus plane parked up. Looked very smart, I have to say, so all those worried that it isn’t a pale blue colour, you can be reassured.
