stone cold rad

Hi all
another update on my rad saga. I have bled the rad in question and nice clean water dribbles out..... i have also sprayted wd40 on the trv pin and still the pin doesnt want to co operate. Therefore, can i safely be led to believe that a new trv would cure the problem.
Also a rad in the living room that was working has decided to stop working..... i bled that rad too and also nice clean water came out, this rad gets lukewarm after a long time... byt the time this gets lunkewarm all the other rads are boiling....
Another thing i tried was to close this valve on all the upstairs rads to force the water downstairs where the trouble rads are.
This is valve i closed..
