    Thank you, I do indeed have an external hard drive so I shall give it a go tomorrow unplugging that and trying that way, ooh isn't technology complicated?!!!

    Don't just unplug it. Use the Safely Remove.... icon in Windows. Then see with what you are left.

    It's possible that your external drive has been allocated two drive letters.
