Understanding PCN issued today (I am complete noob)

Hello. I have read the new members thread.
Can I confirm my understanding with you please?.
I recieved a PCN today. Parked in private car park visiting a friend. First time parked there. The sign on entering said visitors parking. So I parked nearest to her flat. On leaving I had PCN, for not having a permit. In the area I parked it did not display any signage regarding being a permit holder. There was one space with a car parked in it that stated for disabled permit holders. All the other spaces in the row were unmarked, not signage near, or in view. The row opposite was the same. The row on the other side of that one had a permit holders sign as so did the next few. I have photos of all of this. On leaving the car park i saw their were two rows with visitor parking. I did not park here as drove straight past on entry as was full.
For my next step do I do as instructed and send the template to the appeal email for Horizon parking on day 25.
Do I attach pictures to show there were no signs or do I wait to hear back from them. I dont quite understand what happens once I've sent the template and what I should be expecting from that action.
Thank you for reading.

You need to post this in the dedicated parking ticket section. It's at the top of this board.0

First, edit your post to remove information about who parked! Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper who are two different people.

Do this before you do anything else!
For my next step do I do as instructed and send the template to the appeal email for Horizon parking on day 25.
YesDo I attach pictures to show there were no signs
No
or do I wait to hear back from them.
Yes
I dont quite understand what happens once I've sent the template and what I should be expecting from that action.
Now you go back and re-read the NEWBIES. It explains what happens next, what you should be expecting, and how you should be preparing yourself in readiness.
You should get a copy of the lease/AST from the person being visited to see exactly what is says about parking. What it doesn't say about parking is equally if not more important.
Have you complained to the landowner?
Have you complained to your MP about this unregulated scam?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Complain to the land owner. I eventually had to do this as the scumbag company wouldn't revoke the ticket (even though I'm a doctor who was on-call to a patient!) and the company got it revoked within 24hrs of me contacting them0

They are obviously trying to scam you so complain to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, and persistent offenders denied access. Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers.
Until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Yes. Read the NEWBIES thread again so you understand the reason for this tactic. For my next step do I do as instructed and send the template to the appeal email for Horizon parking on day 25.
Read the section that explains WHY you are delaying the appeal till day 25/26.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello, I have appealed the parking charge as per instructions. I then received a reply saying I hadn't given them my registration number so the charge was still outstanding. I replied to say that they had the registration on the PCN they left on the car and for them to check their records. That was 6 days ago and no response. Today I recieved a letter titled notice to keeper and that my payment is now overdue. Even though I have raised a dispute on day 25. What should I do now?. Thanks for reading.0

Which board should I be posting my questions to, to ask for further help?. Thank you.0

You have posted in the right place, but it looks like no-one was available to respond to your request during the twenty three minutes you allowed.
Please be patient.0 -
Did Horizon give you a POPLA code?0
