RM offer label print at delivery offices , is that the main sorting office , or my local post office?

collect plus in my local seems to be mainly Spar shops owned by james hall , who do NOT do print in store

    Well I said RM.
Why would it be at a Post Office?

Again this is one example for you.

The post you quoted was to someone who continually uses Hermes despite problems. citing collection being a factor which isnt unique.
A bigger picture of people going on low end pricing and somehow surprised when problems arise there isnt a massive customer service operation in the background.

my PM sorting office is situated at the opposite side of town with a horrendous one way system and bas parking

on the few times I have been to collect letters/parcels there have been long queues at the counter

a trip would have to be done in working hours

this service is sort of self defeating , as I could buy a felt pen , write my label and hand over PO counter

None do. Thats why they have national customer service staff.
Biggest complaint when offices had direct phone numbers. nobody answered the phone.
This was due to it being the same staff who had other duties to do.
    So RM went centralised.

In my experience Hermes are just awful. Speaking as somebody that uses ebay 90% to buy and 10% to sell, I will no longer purchase goods through anybody that uses Hermes to post. Would rather pay more to actually get the goods through Royal mail who despite their faults will make an effort to get neighbours to take the delivery or worst case hold it in the sorting office for me to collect.

In terms of OPs issue. How can Hermes claim their final delivery scan is worth anything, given that it was lobbed over a fence?

    Yes I am the same.

Although recently listing said RM but was sent Hermes and nothing but problems getting it.
