pickle - I think many of us have a product like your blush, mine is Origins Just Bitten in Raspberry, I have found similar things but nothing quite right.

*Sighs wistfully* Why do they do it to us?!

Oh, forgot to mention last night that I had UU a Gold Together Hand Lotion (200ml) from Boots.

WIBA? Yes, but I have several upstairs already waiting to be used up as I stocked up in the -70% sale (there were hand soap and lotion pump combos there this year - yay!). I normally have some on-the-go at work and at home.

Assuming that you are not allergic to nuts, might I suggest a handful of brazil nuts every couple of days? A friend recommended them to me for similar reasons many years ago and they are amazing for nails and hair. They might help a bit. x

ohh I am going to try this!

I highly recommend making your own - it's dirt cheap and works just aswell as the shop-bought stuff! :T

    One UU tonight:

Oral B Satin Tape 25m WDBA and have done. Good job I bought a back up today. Cheap and effective.
  • Pickle- I was interested in the soap making as years ago I had to do it for chemistry. I remember being disappointed with the yields. So bare with it, the yields will improve with the technique

I learned a long time ago many hand made soaps use a glycerin pre-mix soap base- they add the favours/ colours and solid (flowers, oatmeal and sparkly stuff) to the mix and pour into molds to set.

Hopefully once you get the process down the yields will be great as it will be a lovely Christmas present.

I'm back home after just short of 4 weeks of OH and me pootling around Cumbria and S and E Scotland. I did not make a list for May as I had to take full sizes of many things rather than take and UU stuff in progress and the replacements as space is at a premium.

Made a few purchases as visited a S*perdrug (none near me at home), once I have caught up with all the post and the washing:eek: I will update my lists and prepare for June.

I have had a quick read through the thread and will be ordering some reusable cotton rounds from Etsy today, thanks for the recs.

sstevo - great news about your car:D

Expecting a small delivery from Beauty Pie today:o

    One UU this morning:

Paula’s Choice Skin Recovery Enriched Calming Toner 190ml WDBA and will do in the future but not right now. I will use the Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid Lotion Light on a morning in replacement of this. Love this toner, it will always be a part of my skincare collection. It's very hydrating, and it helps keep my skin hydrated throughout the day.
