Oh my goodness, this was the challenge I didn't know I needed. Having just spent £50 on makeup at Harvey Nicks because they had a sale on and I was out of foundation :embarasse0

Essie Top Coat - this was a mini from a little kit with a base coat and natural pink colour. WBA it did the job but there are cheaper ones which work just as well too.
TA
Burts Bees Lip Crayon in Hawaiian Smoulder - this is matte (ish) and I don't like matte lip products, it made my lips feel dry, was a lovely colour though.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

My nails are in horrible condition - very brittle and peeling. I will have some blood tests as I suspect the thyroid is to blame. I will give them some love today first though.
I noticed my Merumaya Lip Line Restoration Treatment is empty now. This was a surprising product - I didn't think it would work for anything but actually it did. Lips look definitely plumber, more full. WMBA.ally.0 -

Unexpectedly used up Elizabeth Arden blusher. The final scraping of the pan fell apart. Gone. I will miss it as light colour but natural. It was hard to make mistakes with it as colour was forgivng.0

I UU the mini bottle of OPI Suzi and the Arctic Fox yesterday. Lovely colour. May repurchase later in the year. I also have a couple of bottles that are similar in colour to each other and other bottles I have so am looking for a new home for them. They are Butter London Flusher Blusher and Lottie London Spring Break. Will see if a friend at work wants them. The Butter London one is jelly formula that I don't like.
Today, I'm wearing OPI Sparrow Me the Drama again. Love this one.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

If you can get hold of some bees wax google Dr Sara Robb. She set up her own business when she had her daughter and also teaches classes at The Honey Show. I attended one once and it was really good. She also has a book of recipes, which I've lent to a friend otherwise I could have given you some of her recipes. I have to say the moisture lotion she got us to make is amazing.
Thank you - I will! *Search engines furiously*savingfortomorrow wrote: »Pickle -- are you going to use a pre-made soap base like a lot of hand made soaps do or do the caustic soda. I remember it as messy. it will be great to create your own scents and oils in the soap.
Caustic soda method - I stockpiled the stuff last time I made any as it's not that easy to get hold of nowadays. Also, the pre-made soap bases are not that easy to get hold of near me.savingfortomorrow wrote: »I am actively trying to go for easy wins and clear out things that will not be used again. Same here - really makes you think, doesn't it? Also, quick wins are good for the soul!piggy_bank wrote: »Oh my goodness, this was the challenge I didn't know I needed. Having just spent £50 on makeup at Harvey Nicks because they had a sale on and I was out of foundation :embarasse

Assuming that you are not allergic to nuts, might I suggest a handful of brazil nuts every couple of days? A friend recommended them to me for similar reasons many years ago and they are amazing for nails and hair. They might help a bit. xsavingfortomorrow wrote: »Unexpectedly used up Elizabeth Arden blusher. The final scraping of the pan fell apart. Gone. I will miss it as light colour but natural. That's the sign of a HG product, surely?! :T
Many (and I do mean many) moons ago I had a Clarins creme blush a bit like that. It was amazing - neither too pink nor too peachy, looked amazing and could be applied like a dream. I remember using a cotton bud to get the very. last. bits. around the edge...and when I went back to buy a new one they had discontinued it!
My heart still hurts a bit when I think about that! Please call me 'Pickle'

pickle - I think many of us have a product like your blush, mine is Origins Just Bitten in Raspberry, I have found similar things but nothing quite right.

Philosophy Cinammon Buns Shower Gel 480ml - lovely stuff.
Dermol Lotion 500ml - this was a prescription for DD's eczema which she hardly used so I finished it as body lotion, the longest and most boring of all LHJ's and not that moisturising, it does keep the itching down a bit for eczema sufferers though.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
