Thanks, I shall request the SAR in the morning.

My drivers licence is correct. I just always had the car registered at my parents address as lived there most my life and had a couple of temporary addresses. However the car has been sold so will have a new registered keeper within the next week or two so no point changing the address now as my new car is correct?

I’ll do some more reading over the next couple of days and see if I can figure out an angle of defense

OP, you say. Ccj against you will have repercussions

If you were to end up losing in court then contrary to the advice you have been given then losing will mean a ccj recorded against you.

(That would subsequently be expunged from the records if you were to pay it off in full within a month of the judgement date, and after the court have received confirmation from the claimant. This would mean your employer would know about the ccj if they get daily updates of ccjs - would this cause the repercussions you fear)

Hi Quentin, they don’t do daily checks for CCJ’s however every year we undergo a fitness and propriety test in which they do a credit search on each member of staff to check for adverse credit such as CCJ’s. I cannot risk having one of these filed against my name. In this instance what would you best advise?

Who do they use for that check? The commercial agencies like Experian?

Why not discuss the situation you find yourself in with the appropriate dept at work.

If even that is too "dangerous" then don't risk it!

Thanks Quentin, they use either Experian or exquifax to check that there is nothing untoward on my credit file as I am giving clients financial advice.

If the CCJ. Would be removed once it’s been paid and there would then be no traces of it then I assume that would be okay. However I have heard of people having the CCJ last 6 years on their credit file?

Yes a ccj does remain on the records for 6 years if not satisfied within the month from the date of judgement

Assumption is the mother of all f***ups and for someone who works in the financial sector I would expect you to know much more about how CCJ,s work, having said that (and its not a dig in any way) you have done well in rescuing this (potentially bad) situation by submitting AOS, have you checked if its been accepted?

If it has then step 2 is compiling and submitting a defence on or before the deadline Keith P gave you. With help from the regulars on here you have a 99% chance of winning this and paying NOTHING! however nothing is guaranteed when dealing with parking scammers but what is guaranteed is YOUR 100% avoidance of getting a CCJ if you follow the Courts/Judges instructions IF??? you lose.

Read around the forum and get more familiar with the game you are now involved in and how the parking scammers operate, it will serve you well in the future if your unlucky enough to be preyed upon by the scummy parking rats again.

    No

As already posted above in #13 you always do get a ccj (county court judgement) against you if you lose in court.

But only if you DONT pay the judgement within the timescale ordered by the Court, if you pay the CCJ straightaway or at worst within ONE month it is NOT registered at all so #13 is incorrect.
