Hey people!
Recently bought a used 2014 Bmw 1 series.
The dealership I’ve bought it from gives me a 6 month RAC Drive away warranty.
I want to get my own warranty in place and have been recommended ‘warranty direct’.
Now I will be selecting a comprehensive cover, with uncapped labour charge, also includes wear and tear and covered from day one.
Does anyone have any history with the same product ?
It’s costing me £500 for a 24 month warranty.

no, but be very aware about what it does and does not cover..... I understand these post manufacturers warranty companies have more loopholes than Trumps defence lawyers...0

Put £500 in a savings account then you have guaranteed at least £500 to put towards any repairs that may be needed.0

It looks as if it covers everything to be honest,
As I said, wear and tear too.
Uncapped labour rates , so I can choose a garage of my own liking.
Also claims up to £100000 -

I'll bet you the £500 that it doesn't :rotfl:
Does it include all components and not just their 'core' offer
Does it include wear and tear items or just wear and tear on named items (i.e. not the things that normally wear out)
What's the excess ?0 -
Excess is £800 depending on value of repair, also I can choose to cover 0%,15% 30% all the way up to 50% of the cost, which I obviously won’t lol.0

Are you confusing excess with maximum amount payable per claim? If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Honestly it says it covers everything, how much of that is true I don’t know.
Maybe a tin under the bed will Be the better option0
