Even if they delete the clause where the substitute executor tries to get a foot in the door for their 1.5% (plus extras no doubt) if any of the other 4 are no longer alive/willing/able - if I were them I would have lost trust in the rest of the will by now.0

Not married.
Have the wills taken that into account?
They need to be structured to make use of all 4 nill rate bands as they are not transferable.
Passing assets to each other and life interest trust cause IHT issues.0
