please recommend a 6-8kw multi fuel stove that is direct air fed

Hi,
We are trying to source a multi fuel stove for a new build. It must be direct air fed with an output of 6-8kw.
We would prefer:
-traditional to semi trad design
-good sized viewing screen/single door
-350-450 deep
-good controllability
-ideally with tertiary air
We are hoping to get a stove that sfits the bill for under £1000 (but open to persuasion). We would appreciate your recommendations.
I have tried many sites and forums and each time I narrow down the selection e.g. morso 06, clearview 500, franco belge savoy it turns out that they are not direct air fed.
Your recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks,

It is a complete minefield. I have been searching high and low. oBviosuly every salesman pushed their own and rubbishes everyone elses.
Some say many of the stoves are now made in China even by some of the better known UK/EU brands and that they are subject to the same BS/ISO checks and certifications
Has anyone experience of makes such as Precision? Graphite? Henley? Stanley?

That is useful. Are there any 6-8kw stoves in particular that you think are good value?
That is a difficult one. I was looking at the budget end of the market for an occasionally used holiday place. In my circumstances, the Saltfire brand seemed to be the best cost vs quality compromise so I went for one of those.

Everybody else in my family with a stove has a Clearview. None are direct air fed.

Have you any thoughts on which would be best? and best value for money?
It's easy to light, burns well with a nice picture flame, plenty of heat and the glass stays pretty clean, especially if you give it a wipe with a paper towel when you make it up to avoid any build up.
We've not used solid fuel, just wood varying from cut up trees, kiln dried ash, briquettes and even a load of roofing rafters & pallets. The ashpan only needs emptying about once a fortnight with our use, which is around five hours a night from November through to April (or even May - it was on last night)
It still looks as good as new.
Ours is free standing and has a stainless flue as we don't have a chimney or fireplace. We have the flue swept once a year and the sweep reckons that there's no tar or crud up there so it's burning very efficiently.
