Refund to debit catd

I was issued a refund back to my Lloyd's debit card first thing yesterday morning from Travelodge head office.

When can I expect it in my account?
Sometime today?

Usually around 3 to 5 working days.
  • What do their refund terms state?

Oh wait, I Googled it for you:

    Refund process

    4. Where a refund is payable in accordance with these terms, we will only make refunds in full and to the payment card that you used to make the booking. If you cancel your booking before you check in in accordance with these terms we will normally credit refunds within 10 days of cancellation. If you shorten your booking during your stay in accordance with these terms we will normally credit refunds within 10 days of the last day of the original booking. If you are an individual consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected. You can find out more about your statutory rights by contacting the Citizens Advice Bureau or going to https://www.gov.uk/consumer-protection-rights.

You might have 'Googled' it for OP, however, the result of your 'Googling' does not answer OP's question.

OP, I can't answer as I've never had a debit card refund from Travelodge.

M&S purchases refunded to my M&S debit card usually appear the following working day, but as molerat said, such refunds can take up to 5 days.

Really? At best I think you'll find that it was a member of his staff using his email address.

I would like to think the dog is entirely unconnected to the rest of the story...?!
