Wont accept return!

I dont think she realised that I had purchased through the buy now pay later option.



She has now realised this and wants payment even though she had the item returned and has allegedly destroyed it!


As I said previously, Klana wont change the status of the order as the Seller is refusing to acknowedge the return!

Raise a formal complaint with Klarna. (Make this clear to them). You have evidence that the goods have been returned (as per your legal Consumer Rights) therefore no payment is due.

If they don't uphold your complaint (and cancel the finance agreement) then ask them for a deadlock letter so you can raise a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service ... once they know you're serious they'll likely become more compliant. (A FOS complaint costs the finance company money - £500? - so they're unlikely to want to risk this for a £150 finance agreement).

Well the complaint got a good result as the seller marked the item as returned!
Only issue is she didn’t mark the full price of it leaving just under £40 still left to pay?
Spoke to the finance company and they have no idea why she hasn’t refunded the whole amount and told me it’s probably postage costs which makes no sense at all!

Have made another complaint, so fingers crossed ��
