Government Gateway/HMRC Login Problems

What on earth is wrong with the Goverment Gateway/HMRC sites?
https://www.access.service.gov.uk/login/signin/creds
Every single time I try to login to this service I have problems. Today I'm trying to check my tax credits and "help to save" account but each time I enter my details I get a "You can’t view this page" error.
Last time I managed to login I could check my pension amount, tax credits and help to save account all through the same site but now I can't access anything at all. My wife can't login either. We both have our government gate ID's and passwords written down so we haven't forgotten.
Any ideas would be gratefully received please?

Thanks for that but I've just tried again and can't login through HMRC. It's so irritating.Cleared unsecured debt: £24786 with DMP

I have nothing but problems with the login. I always have to grab my passport and go through the lost password procedure.0

I reset everything in July 2018 when I started the "help to save" account. I too seem to have to reset everything, every time I want to access these services. It's a shabby service.Cleared unsecured debt: £24786 with DMP

I have the password saved in my browser, and elsewhere on my computer for times when the browser doesn't autofill the password. Then it sends me a code via text.
Are you sure its not something as simple as a 1 for an l or i, o for 0 and so on? You did say you had it written down? Always susceptible to a typo.
I also though dont have the help to save or tax credits bits whether that complicates it i dont know but i shoudlnt have thought it would mess with the GG logon but who knows.0 -
BTW, you havent been explicit about what "cant login" means.
Does it say you have the wrong password?
Or do you literally get "You can’t view this page" when you access the login page or you enter your password and press enter?
Or are you getting through that and then cant access the pages about help to save etc?
And this might be the "bleedin' obvious" but did you try a different browser? What are you using?0 -
I set the POST OFFICE verify service last July too and used that this morning as well. I received my code via text but I just get an error now that says "oops... something went wrong". I've tried twice. I just can't understand how this service is allowed to be so crap.Cleared unsecured debt: £24786 with DMP

I have used it quite a bit in the last few days, for two different accounts, and it's been fine for me.I am one of the Dogs of the Index.0

I literally receive the message "You can’t view this page".
Haven't tried another browser but will now. Thanks.AnotherJoe wrote: »BTW, you havent been explicit about what "cant login" means.
