  • This could actually be quite sinister if someone is creating templates and getting people to share 'horror stories' with the aim of defaming energy suppliers.

    Luckily they don't seem very good at it, and the story is clearly made up

    Only a mad person would set out deliberately to defame a company or person. Defamation would not be the correct method of seeking redress following the explosion of a gas meter.

    However, the poster here does say that he or she suffers from mental health problems.
    I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".

    I don't think it's very nice to defame a person who admits to be suffering from mental health problems, by implying they are mad.

    I think this thread clearly demonstrates just how far the MSE forums have now sunk :(
