My dad is 74 and my mum passed away recently. He’s keen to travel as a single person now. Can anyone recommend any holiday companies suitable for single OAP’s?

What sort of holiday is he looking for?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I've not used them myself but a close friend often used Shearings Highlands and Islands coach tours to various destinations in Scotland. Cruises are popular too.0

We have been to Europe a couple of times with Alfa Travel. Coach tour with a definite emphasis on the older traveller. Good value for money if a little no frills.
We’ve also used them for trips in the UK. Again not 4* but very acceptable.0 -
Try asking in the UK forum.

SAGA is one but look at Great Rail Journeys/ Rail Discoveries - UK, Europe and wider afield. Also HF Holidays.
I'm 70 and travel alone but enjoy the group and being organised.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
I would not let my parents (any of them) travel by themselves. But I really awed by your father. That a very nice that he is enjoying every day and interested in seeing new places. I wish I will be in such a mood when will be 700

Seconded. Best time of their lives (apart from the sadness of losing their spouse of course). I'm "only" 67 and female but I like nothing better than to go off on my own for a few days, anywhere in the UK including as far as the trains go in Scotland.
(Hubby doesn't mind, and we do go away together too!)
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
