RTA Yesterday - Injury Claim - So Confused!

Hello Everyone,
I was involved in a serious car accident yesterday where I was stationary on the motorway and a car came ploughing into the back of me and my baby daughter at full speed. Luckily she was fine and I have got whiplash some heavy bruising, sore ribs and a abrasion on the head.
My car was written off and this was all sorted through Aviva with no fuss. Also a courtesy car sorted through the RAC with no bother.
Today I receive a phone call which I thought he said I'm from the RAC regarding your accident yesterday and said that the third party involved has accepted all responsibility for the accident and that I sustained injuries at the scene that I am automatically entitled to £1800 compensation and explained what happened next and it all sounded very legit and normal.
I receive an email with an electronic document for me to sign so the claim can be put into motion. I signed the document so things could proceed. After the call had ended I started to get suspicious as i was receiving lots of calls about my accident. So I thought I've got so confused and can't think straight with I this I need to stop and look at whats going on.
So it turns out that the personal I thought that called me from the RAC was actually from some accident central place and the email with the contract on it was from people called Veritas Advisors.
I replied to the email because on closer reading the contract has scared me that I have to pay lots of fees and will end up with a massive bill to pay. So the same man called me back and said it's all legit and said they take a fee of 25% and thats it I don't pay any other fees. To cancel the agreement it's to another different address and company on the contract.
I have provided a link to the contract with my personal info removed. Can anyone advise me if I'm being taken for a ride and what I can do? But I can't post the link as I'm not allowed because I'm new to the site. PM me if anyone would be so good as to have a look for me?
Thank you for any help

Your decision on whether to cancel or not, but 25% deduction if successful is the norm when using no win no fee companies which this sounds like.0

I assume there are thousands of companies out there trying to get my business as they get a fee. I have signed a CFA agreement, which I assume is pretty standard in injury claims? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Unfortunately these parasites are given your details by people who get involved in the accident such as recovery drivers, body shop employees etc.
By law you have a 14 day cooling off period to cancel this contract so email them back today and cancel it. As these pieces of excrement don’t exactly work within the law expect a load of hassle from them and to get lots of other calls from other similar parasites. Block their number and all numbers that cold call you about this.

25% seems like a lot given your case is pretty watertight. Hit from behind while stationary, car written off so clearly a severe impact, clear signs of injury...0

Thanks everyone. I have cancelled my contract with these people and I will pick the right one for myself over the weekend and take this forward in a way I’m clear and happy with. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. If you have legal expense insurance on your car insurance ask your insurance company to refer you to their panel solicitors to handle your injury claim.
If you have home insurance with legal cover they might be able to help.
If you are part of a union through your job, contact them as they can help.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Hope you recover soon!
Does anyone know if there is a governing body to help us understand which solicitors are best to use when making a fee and transparent with fees?0 -
All solicitors will (should!) be transparent from the start about their fees and get you to agree them before starting work for you
But no governing body is going to tell you who is "best" (or worst)!!0
