Decent windscreen mount for 6.4inch handset

Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent solid car windscreen mount for a larger screen phone so I can use as sat nav?

Ive just got a new 6.4inch handset which is far larger, and slightly heavier than my previous phone and the two (cheapo) mounts I have tried send me crackers with the slight bouncing up and down.

Links to products based on real life experience would be fab.

I bought an air vent mount in the end. Its made by Olixar and it is reliable i.e. the phone doesn't slip out, you can adjust the angle. I didn't much trust the suction that held mounts to the windscreen and on my last car was a long way out of reach and also a long way for my eyesight. Bought it via Amazon.

I have been using the RAM X mount, attached to a Brodit clip. There are a range of windscreen sucker and different link pieces available to fit anything. Its designed for Motorcycles and boats etc so grips well. I like it because it will take my work Iphone 7 or my 6" Mi8 in their cases.

Mount here, links and suckers etc available separately. Clas Ohlsen sell the holder at a good price.

Personally, I don't like windscreen mounts because they block the view.
