    I had that feeling. I also smashed the kneecap in my incident. For me it was the tendon tightening due to the fact it was in a brace for so long (3 months, 0 flexion). Over time it gets better and, almost counterintuitively, the squats helped. Not saying it's easy or comfortable at first. It isn't. In fact it was terrifying the first time I did a bw squat. But I got there :D

    I would suggest google searching the names I've mentioned. They have books but most of it is out there in the webs. From the things you've said on this thread, I think you'd get a lot from.reading mike matthews.
