Okay I had my pip just wonder if any one else have strange questions during their interview with the ascendant? Like here just a few I had.
Do you have a face book account? - my answer to my self what this got to do with pip?.
Have you got paid previous back pay? - would of thought you know this answer if you I haven't!.
Thats about it far as I remember them.

Unless you are using text-to-speech or a tactile braille display, using face book will get you 0 points for PIP:
And if you can understand pay and benefits you probably score 0 points on budgeting.

MY reply would be 1. None of your f**king business and to number 2. What the F**K has it got to do with you?
They are trying to reduce award levels from enhanced to standard and from standard to nothing IMHO I would be emailing the company CEO as soon as I got home or they left your home.
These are questions that have nothing to do with PIP and ESA come to think of it you could have an account but haven't been on it for years. PIP and whether you can read and write or post on the website is not part of a PIP assessment the assessor is well outside their boundaries for the assessment of a claimant.
A few years ago now but one of the hardest to answer questions I was asked at my PIP assessment was 'what do you use the internet for?', having established that I do use the internet. It would've been easier to list what I don't use it for!
And yes I have dogs too, and work, didn't negatively affect my PIP award
Whether or not the claimant has a Facebook account or received any back pay is none of their business. They use anything to reduce of not give awards of benefits. The claimant can always stay silent if they ask that type of question as they have nothing to do with the PIP or ESA assessments. Maybe swearing would stop the assessment but some will swear if asked a question that is nothing to do with the assessment.
If the claimant says YES to the Facebook question then the assessor could do a search on the site for the claimant to find the person and put something in the report like regularly, or on Facebook daily,
I just said yes and rarely go on it due to scary lol!. But to me their are lot of people with the same name what got me I see where you coming from. Just bit odd could of say as well twitter or how to use the keyboard.
If they ask me that question, when I am eventually PIP'd - I would truthfully like to say "NO but I do have a Twitter account - that I used last, about 18 months ago - to contact my local water authority when I was cut off supply without any warning - and my speech is not good enough to phone them - it turns out that the water mains had burst down the road" but of course THIS WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE due to poor speech !
Course they can ask if you use social media - it relates to socialising, IT skills, Dexterity, communication, mental health, concentration and all sorts of things.
I said I did use it - it's a way to keep communicating with friends when my disability stops me from getting to physically see them.
I also answered questions about wearing make-up, getting my hair coloured and cut, going to clubs, getting my shopping etc.
They are trying to establish how you live your life - no need to tell them to f off - they are just doing their job.
No one downgraded me for telling them the truth. I went in full make-up, fresh haircut and said I used Facebook a lot during the day.
