Can anybody save me perusing 45 pages of this thread and tell me how passive is Hideout.TV? Can I leave it on all night without interaction? Thanks.

It will stop after a while and ask whether you are still watching.  If you don't tell it that you are, it won't continue.

I find it can run for 2 or 3 hours without it asking if you're still there. Maybe longer but I don't tend to have it running for much longer than that at a time.

Definitely best not to try and abuse it by leaving it running all day or overnight though, because it's likely you'll end up getting fewer ads, and in fact they have a list of do's and don'ts here: https://hideoutcares.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021995592-Hideout-tv-Do-s-and-Don-ts
