is there a time limit on when i port my number into orange?

hi peeps,

quick question, i want to purchase an orange contract, but my current contract does not finish till 8th december..thus i an unable to obtain my pac until then, without paying a "fee", so the question is, if i bought the orange contract now. could i prot my number in, in a months time?

Not sure if this answers your question, but i believe once you've been given your PAC its valid for 30 days. HTH:D

If you are already within the last 30 days of your old contract, it's worth getting your PAC code now, this will avoid having to pay another full month on top and using 2 diff. numbers. I've been able to port into orange 6months into the contract. The only network I know that's quite strange about PAC codes and need it at point of sale is Voda.
