I think it's £95 for a Chinese person to visit UK for a visit. But if/as you're Australian you won't need one.0 -
Incidentally, we could go to St Petersburg without the hassle as there are different arrangements for cruises. Not sure if that applies to China though. It might be worth checking out.

Depends on the province - you can get 6 days in Shanghai on a transit visa, 72hrs in Beijing and several other hubs. Hong Kong counts as a 3rd country for Transit Visa purposes so can string together a Chinese trip without expensive visas fairly easily.Save £12k in 2019 #360
