DW Gym

Not sure what to do next please help.
MY STORY SO FAR!

Recieved free gym membership to DW gym Barrow in Furness in October 2018 did not receive an induction as it was a large group membership so was not informed of permit iPad or parking restrictions. NIghts were dark and mornings, car park poorly lit so did not pay attention to signs appealed to civil enforcement direct, failed! Carried out popla appeal without consulting this website and was refused and have now received letter from CEL demanding 100 pounds. Evidence I have is pictures of the car park poorly lit and multiple lights defective, a print out from dw of my attendance I was only 14 minutes over the 3 hours allowed free. What to do now???????
Please help.
Thanks In advance.

Such a shame you jumped the gun.

However, what did the gym say when you asked them to call off their greedy scam parking company that are harassing you due to the gym's inefficiencies and poor customer care?

If you haven't already complained to the gym, post your complaint here first, to avoid angry shooting oneself in the foot incidents

I agree with fisherjim, this is most definitely one for a hard-hitting (but polite) landowner complaint insisting on cancellation. Go for it ASAP with all guns blazing, make it a good one.

It's located in a retail park so may well be worth checking who owns the car park before firing off a landowner complaint.

I contacted the gym and was advised all they could do was provide printout of my attendance.

Did you ask the gym if it was their appointed contractor or not, if it was they are lying?

The PPC won't be bothered with the print out, they don't care, they don't really manage parking they manage money!

Unlikely they know anything about this or are authorised to do anything to help, you need the "organ grinder"!
