Like I said back on the first page...
OK, they quibbled. But they're refunding through goodwill, even though they don't legally have to.If the dealer's any good, they'll refund without quibble.
So not the tensioner etc, but an overdue-for-changing (or road debris?) serp belt - and bits of it went into the cambelt, taking that out. The cambelt is collateral damage to the actual failure.My money is on ... probably something original and unchanged - tensioner, guide or idler - that's let go now and taken the belt with it.0 -
