Decent mid range tyre

My car came with Ironman tires when I bought it last year. I can say that these tyres are decent. They are smooth and have plenty of dry traction. Wet grip is fairly good. Have about 4k miles on them now and no noticeable wear yet.0

A brand of Hercules tyres - https://www.herculestire.com/about/our-story/
Part of the Cooper group - http://coopertire.com/News/Corporate-News-Releases/Hercules-and-Cooper-Tire-Celebrate-50-Year-Anniver.aspx
(Cooper are the parent of Avon)
So likely not to be anywhere near as bad as Chinese by-the-container what-brand-you-want rubbish... but why not just buy Avons? Same parent, same end of the market for price, but a brand they're far less arms-length coy about.0 -
I went for brand new Kumho Ectsa 19 inchs for about £380 full set from Tyreleader a couple years ago. Got around 30k out of them. Had to replace one due to a nail.
Replaced fronts with part worn Avons at 6mm at £60 for the pair on Facebook marketplace and rear pair Yokohama Advan premium tyres basically brand new £120 for the pair on ebay. Very happy so far.0 -
I suggest a set of Comforser, for the lolz.0
